Franceso Pensiero, suspect in Stamford bank robbery, in custody

Stamford police say a person of interest in a bank robbery is in custody. Police arrested Franceso Pensiero of Stamford Wednesday on unrelated charges.

STAMFORD - Stamford police say a person of interest in a bank robbery is in custody.

Police arrested Franceso Pensiero of Stamford Wednesday on unrelated charges.

Police say Pensiero is a possible suspect in the robbery of the First County Bank on Hope Street on Tuesday.

They say Pensiero put a fake gun to his head when they tried to talk to him.
