BRIDGEPORT - Friends of a Bridgeport man crushed by a car are calling on police to arrest the woman who was allegedly behind the wheel at the time.
Authorities say 24-year-old Jeffery Brown was pinned between a cinder-block wall and a car driven by 21-year-old Cherelle Baldwin on Ash Street around three weeks ago. They say the force of the impact was so strong, it cracked the concrete.
Brown's family says he and Baldwin had a young son and lived together, but that he was in the middle of moving out.
