BRIDGEPORT - A fundraiser for 16-year-old Kemoune Thomas, who was shot in a drive by, was held today.

Police say Thomas was heading to a sweet 16 party earlier this month when she was shot in the face during a drive-by shooting on Ezra Street.

The fundraiser, a barbecue hosted by Thomas’ friends at Central High School, will be used to help pay for Thomas' reconstructive surgery.

The event was held in Winfield Park in Bridgeport.

Bridgeport police say that no arrests have been made in the case and a shooter has yet to be identified.
