WILTON - Connecticut Light & Power says its crews are working around the clock to restore power in Wilton, but some residents claim their repeated calls to the utility company have gone unanswered.

Residents say they're also still waiting for debris to be cleared in their area. A tremendous tree that fell during the snowstorm over the weekend is still blocking one street to all traffic.

Town officials say that CL&P is responsible for cleanup because the tree fell onto power lines.

Residents say that a utility worker assessed the damage but gave no indication of when the tree will be removed.

CL&P later told residents that the tree could be removed tonight, but frustrated residents say they have yet to see any trucks. More than 500,000 remain without power in CT VIDEO: Gov. Malloy gives briefing on storm aftermath
