Funeral directors who helped Newtown victims hold memorial in Southbury

Employees from the funeral homes who helped the families of the victims from Sandy Hook Elementary School held a memorial service for the victims yesterday

SOUTHBURY - Employees from the funeral homes who helped the families of the victims from Sandy Hook Elementary School held a memorial service for the victims yesterday in Southbury.

Directors and employees from 11 Connecticut funeral homes honored the victims with a service at the Crowne Plaza in Southbury. The funeral home employees say nothing could have prepared them for what they went through.

During the service, the names of all 26 victims were read and candles were lit in their honor.
