BRIDGEPORT - Funeral services were held yesterday morning for one of the two Bridgeport firefighters killed in the line of duty last Saturday.

Family and friends said their final goodbyes to Lt. Steven Velasquez at St. Augustine's Cathedral.

Thousands of people attended the service.

A funeral was also held yesterday for Firefighter Mitch Baik, who was also killed in last weekend's fire.
