A funeral was held today for the mother and daughter killed in a house fire in Fairfield. Mass was held at the Holy Family Church

FAIRFIELD - A funeral was held today for the mother and daughter killed in a house fire in Fairfield.    

Mass was held at the Holy Family Church in Fairfield.

Maureen Gerrity, 47, and her disabled daughter Katherine O'Neill, 19, were pulled from their home on Crane Street earlier this week, but later died of their injuries.

Investigators say the cause of the fire is under investigation, but it appears it was accidental.
