GREENWICH - A funeral was held Wednesday for a Greenwich police officer who lost his battle with Lou Gehrig's disease.

Roger Petrone had suffered from ALS for seven years.     

During his 20-year career with the department, Petrone was credited with saving a person's life by performing CPR and rescuing 150 people from a sinking ferry.

He was 44 years old.
