STAMFORD - A funeral was held today for a Stamford man who police say was one of the people killed in a Manchester shooting yesterday.

Louis Felder Jr., 50, was the director of operations at the beer distributor.  His funeral was held at Congregation Agudath Sholom.

Felder was an active member of the orthodox Jewish community in Stamford.  He leaves behind a wife and three kids.

Police say Omar Thornton, 34, had just been shown a video that appeared to show him stealing beer and was given the choice of quitting or being fired when he pulled a gun and started shooting. Authorities say Thornton killed eight people before turning the gun on himself.

Thornton's girlfriend's mother says he complained of racial discrimination at work and that he called his own mother during the shooting.

Union sources say he never filed any complaints of racism with them.
