Funeral held for Trumbull toddler

TRUMBULL - A funeral was held today for the Trumbull toddler who died after being pulled from the Pequonnock River last week.

Hundreds of mourners gathered at St. Catherine's Church to pay their respects to the family of 21-month-old Thomas Chisholm.

Police say the young boy fell into the river behind his home on Lindberg Drive last Wednesday and was found down the river near the Beardsley Zoo in Bridgeport.

Doctors at Bridgeport Hospital say they did all they could to save Thomas' life.
