NORWALK - Norwalk police say funeral arrangements have been finalized following the passing of one of the department's retired lieutenants. 

Lt. Tim Murphy passed away Friday morning following a year-long battle with cancer.

Murphy retired in February of last year after working 33 years for the department.

Murphy's wake will be Friday at Magner's Funeral Home in Norwalk and the funeral will take place Saturday morning at St. Aloysius Church in New Canaan.
