Funeral to be held Friday for Staff Sgt. Todd Lobraico Jr., Conn. airman killed in Afghanistan

DANBURY - A wake was held Thursday for an Air National Guard member from Connecticut who was killed last week in Afghanistan.

The plane carrying the body of Staff Sgt. Todd Lobraico Jr. arrived Wednesday afternoon at the Air National Guard Base in Newburgh, N.Y. The 22-year-old was from New Fairfield and the son of a Stamford police officer.

Lobraico's funeral will be held Friday morning in Danbury at Western Connecticut State University.
