A Georgia felon will be arraigned Friday afternoon for allegedly robbing a bank in Stamford last month.Police say Ellsworth Smith stole $3,000 from the Wachovia

STAMFORD - A Georgia felon will be arraigned Friday afternoon for allegedly robbing a bank in Stamford last month.

Police say Ellsworth Smith stole $3,000 from the Wachovia Bank branch on Summer Street on June 29.

Smith possesses a lengthy criminal record and poses under different aliases.

He is being charged with first-degree robbery and being held on $1 million bond.
