NORWALK - The General Assembly is planning to return to the state Capitol next week to discuss overriding the governor's vetoes.

Gov. Malloy vetoed nine bills, including one that placed stricter job standards on the commissioner of education and another that doubled the number of students serving on the UConn Board of Trustees.

If the legislature overturns any of those vetoes, it would mark the first time since Malloy first took office in 2010.
