BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police are investigating after a goat head was found in Beardsley Park over the weekend.

Police say a man walking in the park found the head Sunday.

The discovery comes two weeks after headless roosters were found hanging in a tree above a bag containing a sheep's jawbone, a snakeskin and other items. Police believe the incidents may be connected to someone practicing the Caribbean religion of Santeria.

Investigators say animal control officers are handling the case.
