HARTFORD - Gov. Dannel Malloy accepted his party's endorsement for a second term in office at Friday night's Democratic Convention in Hartford.

Malloy thanked his constituents and reflected on his time in office. He spoke about the tough choices he and the state has faced, including issues like raising the minimum wage and deciding to enact some of the toughest gun control laws in the country.

Democrats also endorsed all the incumbent constitutional officers, including the secretary of state, comptroller, and attorney general.

The Republican Convention starts tomorrow at Mohegan Sun Casino.
