Gov. Malloy calls for church bells on Newtown anniversary

NEWTOWN - Gov. Dannel Malloy is calling on churches and houses of worship to mark the anniversary of the Newtown school shooting by ringing their bells 26 times, once for each victim.

Saturday marks one year since the tragedy.

To remember those who died, the governor is urging people to donate to a charity, volunteer in your community or set aside time to spend with family and friends.
