BRIDGEPORT - Representatives from Park Cemetery on Lindley Street say dozens of residents have contacted them about headstones shifting.

Residents say some of the headstones are leaning back, facing the wrong direction or entirely out of place.

The cemetery manager says many of the headstones are a few inches off due to workers inadvertently moving them while clearing away snow during the wet winter season. She says she will make sure any issues with the position of headstones are corrected as soon as a situation is reported.

The manager suggests that any families with loved ones resting at the cemetery take a look at the plots and report problems directly to her.
