Greenwich braves cold during snow cleanup

Some town streets may be temporarily shut down for the snow cleanup. (1/22/14)

GREENWICH - Cleanup continues in Greenwich, one of the hardest-hit communities after Tuesday's snowstorm. Close to a foot of snow fell in Greenwich.

Officials will close down Greenwich Avenue in sections overnight on Wednesday and Thursday so they can clean up the rest of the snow.

In addition to Greenwich Avenue, other town streets may be temporarily shut down for clean up.

Residents shoveling sidewalks and cleaning off their cars say they're trying to stay warm as the temperatures drop to 3 degrees.
