GREENWICH - A husband and wife went before a judge today after police say they stole from the residents of a Greenwich apartment complex where the husband was the superintendent.

Police say 33-year-old Michael Orr used the keys he had as the property manager at Greenwich Shore Apartments to gain access and steal jewelry. They say the thefts began back in 2009.

His wife, 33-year-old Elisa Temple-Orr, is also facing charges in connection with the thefts. The attorney for Temple-Orr says any association his client may have had with the burglaries would have been peripheral at best.
