Greenwich family has snow removed to curb leaks

GREENWICH - Members of one Greenwich family says they?re trying to save their home from further structural damage done by the last snowstorm while preparing for another one that is set to hit southwestern Connecticut tomorrow.

The Berenblum's roof above the front door has been covered with heavy snow since the beginning of January, causing leaks inside their home. They brought in a landscaping company to clear away snow from the last storm, hoping it would curb some of the leaking.

Landscapers say it will likely cost less to have snow removed from a roof than to repair structural damage.
