GREENWICH - One Greenwich family, whose home was devastated by March's nor'easter, says it is taking extra steps to be prepared for the coming hurricane season.

With Hurricane Earl barreling up the East Coast this week, the Millers say they have been loading up on supplies for their family and their horses before the storm hits.

A spokesman from the Office of Emergency Preparedness told News 12 Connecticut that there is a chance Hurricane Earl will bypass southwestern Connecticut, but it's still better to be prepared.
