GREENWICH - Griffith Harris Golf Course opened today after last month's nor'easter knocked down more than 30 trees.

Golfers say they would have been able to tee off earlier this week if it wasn't for the damage on the course. Crews say they have been working hard to remove down trees and put down fresh grass seed in their place.

The course pro says the silver lining may be that fewer trees makes the course a little easier for golfers who can't hit the ball straight.
