GREENWICH - Students at Greenwich High School took part in an anti-bullying assembly Wednesday as part of their homecoming week festivities.
The event comes two months after sophomore Bart Palosz committed suicide on the first day of classes. Family members say the 15-year-old shot himself due to the effects of bullying.
Students participated in a mixed martial arts demonstration to help boost self-esteem. They also watched a short film and engaged in group discussions about how to prevent destructive behavior.
