Greenwich High School has fired boys tennis coach Connie Jones after police say she got into a shoving match with a state trooper.

Jones was arrested during a traffic stop of the team's bus on I-95. The stop occurred when police were investigating a report that a bagel was thrown from the bus hitting another car.

Jones was placed on leave following the incident which she denies ever happened.

With Jones as coach, the team won 10 league titles and seven state Class LL titles.
