Greenwich officials probe suspicious package report at Bank of America
GREENWICH - Officials in Greenwich spent hours investigating a report of a suspicious package left at the Bank of America on South Water Street Wednesday.
The area around the bank was evacuated while the Stamford Bomb Squad investigated.
One officer told News 12 Connecticut that it all started at around 2:30 p.m.

However, Nico Sveiekauskas tells News 12 the suspicious package might have been his backpack, which he left inside the bank earlier in the day.
Sveiekauskas was taken by police for questioning.
Police have not confirmed whether the backpack was the suspicious package. They say it's unlikely an arrest will be made.
