Greenwich parents worried about suspicious van

GREENWICH - Greenwich police are investigating two reports of a man who tried to lure kids into his van.

The first happened on Tuesday when a 17-year-old boy was walking down Pemberwick Road and a man stopped to ask for directions.

Police say the man then asked the teen to get in the van, but drove off when the boy said no.

On Wednesday, a man matching the same description asked the same questions to a 9-year-old North Street School student who was waiting for a bus.

Police say parents should talk to their children and possibly wait with their kids at the bus stop or drive them to school if they are concerned.
