GREENWICH - Many neighborhoods in Greenwich are still without power, with nearly 40 percent of the town still in the dark as of 5 p.m. today.

Downed trees throughout town have brought down power lines, and it's not known when power will return for everyone. Portions of Doubling Road are completely impassable due to damage.

CL&P says it's focusing on restoring power on main roads first, then crews will work on secondary roads. Officials ask for residents to call them if they notice something dangerous on their street.
