Greenwich police say they have replaced seven American flags in Cos Cob this afternoon after an act of vandalism that occurred earlier today.The flags were

COS COB - Greenwich police say they have replaced seven American flags in Cos Cob this afternoon after an act of vandalism that occurred earlier today.

The flags were hanging on Post Road over Mianus Road. The flags were placed there three years ago by the Cos Cob Volunteer Fire Company to honor local veterans.

Officials say the investigation is on-going and they hope to find evidence from security cameras on nearby buildings.
