GREENWICH - Police in Greenwich are stepping up patrols in the wake of a vandalism spree that has left more than a dozen cars damaged.

According to police, 26 vehicles have been hit by vandals in the past couple of months. Police say they are not sure what is being used to scratch the cars, but in some cases the damage amounts to several thousand dollars.
