The head of the Democratic Town Committee in Greenwich was killed after he crashed his car into a building after leaving an RTM meeting late

GREENWICH - The head of the Democratic Town Committee in Greenwich was killed after he crashed his car into a building after leaving an RTM meeting late Monday night.

Police say David Roberson, 42, hit the building at 1064 East Putnam Ave., directly across from Saint Catherine's Church.

The impact of the crash caused Roberson to be trapped in his vehicle, police say.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
