GREENWICH - Greenwich residents are calling on a popular restaurant and hotel to keep the noise down.

Neighbors in the town's Riverside section say The J House plays music into the early morning hours, keeping them awake and disturbing their otherwise serene community. People say the sound is deafening even blocks away, and that no one is taking any action to resolve the situation.

News 12 Connecticut contacted the local health department, which says there are town ordinances that allow music to be played up to certain decibels. However, officials insist there have been no complaints.

The venue's manager says his business is properly following protocol.
