Greenwich sets last day of school

GREENWICH - Students in Greenwich will be in class until June 29 to make up for all the days lost last week to a storm.

The town's board of education voted Thursday night not to touch April vacation and extend the school year instead.

In addition, students at Glenville School will go until June 30 and also have a half-day on Good Friday to make up two additional days lost when they moved into their new building during the school year.
