GREENWICH - Officials in Greenwich are still trying to figure out what to do with contaminated soil found at a field at Greenwich High School.

It could cost $750,000 to safely remove the soil, dispose of it and do follow up testing at the site.

The Greenwich Time is reporting that town leaders will meet this afternoon to consider how to pay for the removal and follow-up testing.

District and town officials are also working on a back up plan in case the fields aren't ready for fall sports.
