GREENWICH - A Greenwich woman has been arrested for allegedly using a 4-year-old to help her steal purses and credit cards.

Police say 25-year-old Melissa Trotter stole from people working at stores along Greenwich Avenue while they were distracted by the toddler.

Authorities in Madison say Trotter faces similar charges in their town.  However, it's not yet known if the same child is involved.
