BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport residents are continuing their fight against a proposed state detention center.Gov. Jodi Rell said Tuesday she plans to move forward with the $15 million facility despite opposition from the city.The facility would be a 24-bed detention center for teenage girls.State Rep. Chris Caruso says those against the plan will do whatever it takes to halt the project. Caruso says they are looking into legal channels and putting pressure on the bond commission.
