HARTFORD - (AP) - The two candidates for Connecticut governor will be featured speakers during a conference on Fairfield County's economic recovery.

The University of Connecticut's Stamford campus will be hosting the Fairfield County Economic Summit and Outlook on Wednesday morning.

The summit will feature speeches from Democrat Dan Malloy and Republican Tom Foley on how the area is bouncing back from the recession. The candidates are also expected to discuss their ideas on how to solve the state's multimillion dollar deficit.

Stamford Mayor Ken Pavia and the head of Stamford's economic development office, Laure Aubuchon, are also expected to participate in the conference.
