STAMFORD - A 20-year-old New Haven man, famous for his half-finished haircut mugshot, has reportedly pleaded guilty to first-degree assault.

David Davis's plea comes a month after police say he said he was acting in self defense when he slashed another man in the back with scissors while getting his hair cut in Stamford.

"The Advocate" newspaper says Davis agreed to serve a four-year prison sentence for the assault.
