STAMFORD - Strong wind gusts damaged homes and caused power outages in Stamford Sunday.

In Stamford, a large tree fell in the middle of a home on Elmbrook Drive.

Neighbors are offering the family who lives there any support they can, like a place to stay and extra storage space for the things they can salvage inside their house.

A tree also fell by the Macy's downtown.

In Greenwich, Eversource crews battled 50 mph gusts to clear fallen trees.
