ORANGE - Gym members can stay healthy while they provide power for the Go Green Fitness gym in Orange.

The facility located on 500 Post Road is the only gym in the state to be powered entirely by people working out.

"You look down at the watts you're creating and it's kind of surreal," Kelly Berwick said. "You're doing this, you're powering the building and it's a great feeling."

The building is powered by 25 exercise bikes that are connected to generators to create electricity.

There is no fee to use the gym, but peddlers are required to pay by the class.
