BRIDGEPORT - Harding High School in Bridgeport went on lockdown today after police received a call about a possible gunman in the building.

Police say at around 1:30 p.m. a security guard reported a male with what looked like a gun in his waistband roaming the building.

Students say it only lasted for about an hour and they weren't told why they were on lockdown.

After reviewing surveillance tapes, investigators confirm that the suspect ran out of the school. They say they believe the suspect may be a student.
