STAMFORD - One day after he was arrested for allegedly defrauding the Board of Education, the head custodian at a Stamford middle school said today he is totally innocent.
Police say as head custodian at Rippowam Middle School, 65-year-old Andrew Shavers would often leave his post while he was still clocked in. Officials say they found out he was leaving by following him.
Authorities say that say several other custodians at the school on High Ridge Road are also under investigation.
