Hearing tonight on storm response

NEW CANAAN - The first in a series of four public hearings into power companies? response to the March 13 nor'easter is set to take place tonight in New Canaan.

The public will get the chance to comment about CL&P and United Illuminating's response in the immediate aftermath of the storm that knocked out power to about 140,000 people in Connecticut.

Tonight?s hearing will take place at New Canaan town hall at 6:30.

Further hearings are scheduled for next week in Greenwich, Westport and Fairfield.
