GREENWICH - Overnight rain has added several inches of water to an already over-saturated region.

The Pemberwick Section of Greenwich is one of many areas that has a great deal of street flooding.

First Selectman Peter Tesei and the Greenwich Fire Department spent part of the morning putting down sandbags to hold back the Byram River. The river was already overflowing after a two-day storm earlier in the week.
