Heavy snow causes roof to collapse

STAMFORD - Snow on some rooftops is causing serious damage.

Firefighters responded yesterday after a 15-foot section of a roof collapsed at a Stamford office park.

Officials say heavy snow caused part of the roof to cave in on Servicemaster Clean, a home and business restoration company on Viaduct Road.

The collapse of the roof tripped a sprinkler alarm, prompting the fire department to investigate.
