STAMFORD - Police say they have a man in custody who led them on a high speed chase and shut down I-95.Officials say the incident began with shots being fired in New Haven, prompting a chase that ended in Stamford. Police closed I-95 as they tried to negotiate with the man.According to police, the man is a postal worker from Wallingford. Police say the armed man threatened to harm officers before he was taken into custody.
