Horse farm shut down after barn collapse

The owner of a Norwalk horses farm says he's looking for a new place for his horse to exercise after the roof of his barn

NORWALK - The owner of a Norwalk horses farm says he's looking for a new place for his horse to exercise after the roof of his barn collapsed yesterday.

The roof over the riding arena at Silvermine Farm gave way yesterday morning, leaving nothing but a twisted pile of aluminum roofing and split wood.

The owner says none of the 38 horses he houses were hurt, but now they'll be cooped up in their stables until he can arrange to have them exercised somewhere else.
