BRIDGEPORT - The owner of a hot dog truck in Bridgeport is resisting the city's demands that she relocate her vending location.
Janet Marzan and her son, Joe, have worked the lunch hour outside the Fairfield County Courthouse for seven years, but were told by police yesterday that they have to leave.
Police say it is illegal to park a vendor truck on a sidewalk blocking pedestrian traffic. Nancy Hadley, the city's former economic development director, said she complained about Marzan's truck to police.
Marzan has started a petition to stay at this location and says she is not leaving until she is forced out.
