House fire destroys Bridgeport home

BRIDGEPORT - A house fire in Bridgeport Friday night destroyed a multi-family home.

A family at 801 Noble Ave. says they lost everything, including the Christmas tree that was donated to them.

Officials say the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

The fire started around 11 p.m. yesterday.

Fire victim Scarlett Beardsley says the Red Cross has put her and her family up at a local motel for three days, but after that they're on their own.
