MILFORD - Hundreds of people joined the Milford Police Department this morning to remember an officer killed in the line of duty 25 years ago.Daniel Wasson was shot and killed during a routine traffic stop on April 12, 1987. He was 25 years old.Wasson remains the only Milford police officer ever killed on duty.In keeping with Wasson's love of athletics, his family and friends invite everyone to attend a softball game in his honor, set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Foran High School.
